Performance Measurement

Performance management is the process of assessing progress toward achieving predetermined goals, while performance management is building on that process adding the relevant communication and action on the progress achieved against these predetermined goals (Bourne, M.,Franco, M. and Wilkes, J. 2003).
Performance Management is all about “Execution” - putting strategy to work.
Performance Management
Simply put, performance management includes activities to ensure that goals are consistently being met in an effective and efficient manner. It establishes proven methodologies for helping business leaders determine which efforts (initiatives/projects) will most positively impact their customers, employees, and shareholders. Performance Management monitors whether the business is on track to deliver the required outcomes and identifies any areas requiring intervention.
